The first fall seminar of the OE 990/991 Ocean Seminar series will be used to welcome our new Ocean Engineering Graduate Students to the program. A brief overview of the Ocean Engineering programs will be given, followed by an introduction to Chase Ocean Engineering High Bay Lab operations. The remainder of the first seminar will consist of 1-slide “Lightning Presentations” by Ocean Engineering Faculty Members (about 25). The goal of the first seminar is to make everybody feel welcome, give you an introduction to how our laboratory operates and a brief overview of the broad range of research being conducted by OE faculty.
