Located on the first floor at Chase Ocean Engineering Lab, The Data Visualization Research Lab (DVRL) has the goal of carrying out research into advanced interactive visualization. The lab is has a special interest in techniques that can be applied to ocean mapping and ocean technologies in general. The DVRL is involved in a wide array of research, including work in electronic charting, navigation, 3D simulations, and the development of GeoZui4D, their geo-spatial visualization and analysis software.
