The fourth annual UNH Ocean Discovery Day brought marine science and research to life with hands-on activities and demonstrations by UNH staff, students and Marine Docents last weekend.

The Jere A. Chase Ocean Engineering Laboratory was abuzz with activity Friday as elementary, middle and high school students explored dozens of different work stations focused on marine science. It was the second year the UNH laboratory held an Ocean Discovery Day for students, and attendance nearly doubled this year due to demand.
