Rohit Venugopal is pursuing his Masters in Computer Science. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Information Technology from the University of Pune, India in 2008. His senior year project was developing a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) for internal operations at 2Wire’s Kenati Technologies in Pune, India. His academic interests lie in Operating systems, Networking Technologies and Programming. Rohit is currently working on the development of methods to parallelize processing of bathymetric data, which he plans to develop into his thesis for his Master’s programme. In his free time, he likes to play soccer and squash or play computer games. He also likes traveling.
